摘要

This research aims to investigate the dry sliding wear behaviour of AZ91/ ZrB2 (2.5–7.5wt %) composites using optimization techniques. A micro-Vickers hardness test and microstructural analysis using an optical microscope were performed. Tribological behaviour was conducted on a pin-on-disc tribometer at room temperature by varying the applying load, sliding distance, and composite type. To determine the critical elements influencing the responses, an analysis of variance is carried out. Subsequently, the impact of the process component on wear is examined through the application of TOPSIS. The load applied is 20 N, and the sliding distance is 1200 m. Under these parameters, the composite MZ2 is considered the most optimal composite.
