Necropsy Protocol for Feminicide in Pregnant Women and Perinatology of the Embryo and Fetus

This chapter presents the necropsy protocol for the investigation of feminicide in the pregnant woman as well as the perinatological necropsy of the embryo/fetus, where the actions and activities of the forensic medical expert are described step by step in order to avoid omissions during its execution, which will allow obtaining the most information to be able to clarify the death of the pregnant woman, as well as the embryo/fetus in utero, in addition to the fact that different techniques are also described for carrying out the necropsy protocol to expand the possibilities for research and interpretation of the findings that arise during its implementation, starting from a scientific attitude and with a gender perspective.
