In the field of civil engineering, such as the planning and design of construction projects, as well as the maintenance of traffic engineering, it is necessary to carry out civil engineering design and management. Because through the necessary design and management, managers or users can obtain the target information more intuitively and clearly, so as to make more appropriate plans and complete the target project. Or through the correct project management, ensuring the follow-up maintenance work of the project. In order to make this kind of work more mature and efficient, this paper proposes to use BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology and big data integration to assist it, and finally demonstrates it through comparative experiments. In the controlled experiment of the time required to complete the project, the average time required by the system based on the method in this paper is 97.2 h, while the average time required by the conventional method is 109.9 h. The obvious experimental gap fully shows that BIM technology and big data integration can be well applied in civil engineering design and management.
