The management organization of the modern industrial complex, especially the petrochemical enterprise, is based on a specific field of knowledge and practical methodology widely applied in various fields of production and economic activity. At the same time, the application of principles, technologies, and methods of production organization using tools and methodological approaches to management during the fourth industrial revolution requires fundamental changes in the organization of business processes of petrochemical enterprises. This necessity becomes more urgent in the era of Industry 4.0 and the development of the digital economy, which requires the development and implementation of new approaches to smart enterprise management in the digital economy based on digital competencies. For this purpose, the article examines the economic mechanisms of applying new approaches to the management of a smart petrochemical enterprise based on digital technologies. Algorithms of transformation models based on these economic mechanisms have been developed.
