The paper considers analysis of the knowledge economy of regions in the aspect of the possibilities of applying the technologies of “Industry 4.0”. The main objective of the article is to analyze the level of application of Industry 4 based on knowledge sub-indices by regions of the world. In the calculation process was used the k-means++ clustering method. The main results can be considered as a first step toward description of typical forms of knowledge economy profiles in the world. These results can be used to assess the level of the Industry 4.0 economy in countries and regions, as well as in developing long-term programs.

摘要
