Law and Acculturation Among Slavic Migrants in Poland: Biographical Analysis
摘要
This chapter employs a biographical approach to explore the interplay between law, institutions, and migrant life trajectories. By analyzing biographical narratives, the study identifies key biographical structures and examines their relationship to legal and institutional factors. The findings suggest that while law can offer pathways for integration, it often imposes constraints, limiting agency and shaping migrant experiences. The chapter emphasizes the need for legal frameworks that support migrant autonomy and well-being while acknowledging potential unintended consequences.
