Conjunctival Tumors in Children

Conjunctival lesions in children are nearly always benign. The most common are conjunctival nevi. The rare malignant conjunctival tumors in children are usually larger and appear in older age. Children with xeroderma pigmentosum are a unique group in whom malignant conjunctival tumors can appear at an early age. In this chapter, we describe common and rare, benign and malignant conjunctival lesions in children according to their tissue of origin.
