Eyelid Tumors: Systemic Associations

Several rare eyelid tumors may be manifestations of a systemic disease. It is imperative for ophthalmologists to recognize their systemic associations and initiate appropriate systemic and genetic evaluation. In this review, we describe eyelid tumors with associated systemic diseases (Table 15.1). Where applicable, the inheritance pattern of the syndromic association and its molecular genetics are discussed.
