A Panorama Photographing Device that Exploits the Wide-Angle Lens of Action Cameras

We present a portable device that makes it possible for users to take the photos with an action camera, which can be stitched into a 360 \(^\circ \) panoramic photo afterward easily. The proposed device is automatically operated when the photos are being captured, and the camera also can be used for regular purposes when detached from the device. As a result, a panorama with a higher resolution compared to that taken with an ordinary panoramic camera can be realized.
