Development of a Learning Output Sharing Platform for Output-Driven Learning in Children
摘要
Individually-optimized, collaborative learning using information and communication technology (ICT) presents learning tasks that match individual learners’ interests, concerns, characteristics, and extent of prior learning. Said learning prioritizes flexible teaching and guidance as well as experiential learning via interactions with the local community. Indispensable to this are outputs from learning experiences and a plan-do-check-act (PDCA) learning cycle that includes learning experience outputs and feedback. In the present study, we developed a learning outcome sharing platform to share the creative results of children’s programming education and activities carried out in the local community. This paper proposes output-driven learning and sharing as well as methods to qualitatively evaluate learning and outcomes. The use of the learning records utilized in the system we developed, alongside related feedback, supports a learning cycle and cultivates positive attitudes towards and a desire to engage in self-directed learning.
