摘要

One method for ascertaining a subject’s personality and mental state is the Baum test, in which the client is asked to draw a tree or a person. However, there are problems with the evaluation of Baum test drawings, such as the subjective interpretation by doctors and clinical psychologists, differences in clinical experience and professional skill levels, and the need for experience with a large number of drawings to objectively and appropriately evaluate them. In this study, computer-assisted image analysis was carried out on Baum test tree drawings made by students, and the effectiveness of the method was verified in terms of touch enhancement. Specifically, wavelet analysis was conducted on the tree drawings made by 22 students. The results of the analysis confirmed that thin or thick lines can be effectively emphasized.
