A Fuzzy-Based System for Node Selection and Routing in Vehicular Opportunistic Networks
摘要
Opportunistic Networks (OppNets) are characterized by intermittent connectivity and dynamic topology changes, posing significant challenges to efficient message routing. This paper presents a novel system for node selection and routing in OppNets leveraging Fuzzy Logic (FL). The proposed system uses buffer occupancy, angle to the destination, and the number of unique connections as input parameters. The output parameter is node selection for routing decision. The nodes in OppNet are represented by vehicles, which frequently generate messages within a defined area. We evaluate the proposed system through simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed system make a good and appropriate decision for node selection in OppNets.
