Adjustable Gastric Band Associated Complications
摘要
Once a ubiquitous procedure, adjustable gastric banding (AGB) has been surpassed by sleeve gastrectomy as the most common bariatric procedure. However, a significant number of patients still have AGBs, and it remains indicated as a primary procedure in carefully selected individuals. Importantly, AGB comes with a unique set of complications that can be divided into early and late, and bariatric surgeons should be versed in their diagnosis and management.
