Employee-Engagement Level as a Predictor of Organizational Performance: A Study of Information Technology Companies in Telangana-India

Employee performance, dedication, competitive advantage, etc. all stem in large part from the level of engagement present inside a business. The current study consists of Employee Engagement (EE) and Organizational Performance (OP) with their own dimensions. EE consists of organizational engagement and job engagement and OP consists of emotional, financial, and non-financial components. The current work aimed at determining the levels, factors and relationship of the study variables in Information Technology Companies in Telangana. A total of 440 responses gathered within the time frame. The sample is grouped into two levels primary and secondary levels. In light of the study's primary emphasis on the viewpoint of the employee engagement, only minor adjustments to the engagement and performance questionnaires were made in consultation with IT Company workforce like managers, assistant managers, administrators, team leaders and employee. Factor analysis by Varimax orthogonal rotation followed by Kaiser Normalization Factor analysis was conducted by using latest version of SPSS 21. Employee engagement is favourably related to emotional, financial, and nonfinancial components of organizational performance. Employees’ levels of involvement and dedication did not vary greatly across the different departments, between employees of different types of working hours and schedules, between employees with different designations, and between employees with different degrees of experience, as revealed by this study.
