Effect of Predictors on Health Scores, 110 Patients, Traditional Versus Regularized Regressions
摘要
In this three predictor regression study age class, psychological score, and social score were the predictors of the outcome health scores. The worst result was obtained by the Elastic Net regression, the best by the Ridge. The Lasso and standardized traditional regression equally produced twice a poor and once a reasonable correlation between predictors and outcome. The strong correlation between social scores and health scores, as observed in the Ridge, was also observed in the unstandardized traditional regression (p-value < 0.001).
