Effect of Betaagonist and Prednisone on Peak Expiratory Flow, 78 COPD Patients, Traditional Versus Regularized Regressions
摘要
The effect on peak expiratory flow of betaagonist and prednisone was assessed, applying Traditional and regularized regression analysis. The worst result from the regression analyses was obtained by the Traditional regression. The Ridge, Lasso and Elastic Net regressions each produced null poor correlations and two strong correlations. The unstandardized coefficients of the Traditional regression provided one significant p-value (< 0.001), the factor of which also had a strong correlation in the standardized Traditional regression.
