Effect on Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillations of Gender, Treatment and Their Interaction, 40 Patients, Traditional Versus Regularized Regressions
摘要
The effect on pafs (paroxysmal atrial fibrillations) of gender, treatment (metoprolol or verapamil), and their interaction, was assessed applying Traditional and regularized regression analysis. The worst result from the regression analyses was obtained by the Traditional and Ridge regressions, the best by the Elastic Net. Lasso scored in between. The unstandardized Traditional regression provided 2 significant p-values ( < 0.001 and < 0.001), the factors of which had a strong correlation in the standardized Traditional regression.
