Lymphoreticular Tissues: Lymph Node, Spleen, Thymus, Bone and Marrow
摘要
This group of tissues (sometimes known as the lymphoreticular system) comprises the bone marrow and osseous tissues, lymph nodes (including related nodal aggregates), the spleen, and the thymus. These tissues are variably affected by various disease processes, in different formats, when examined at autopsy. The primary pathology of significance is that of neoplasia, although inflammatory, infective, and autoimmune disease all merit consideration.
