Understanding Caribbean Entrepreneurship and SMEs: David Storey’s Lessons for Small States

In the absence of a West Indian cricket team, we can never be sure whether Professor David Storey would have had any interest in the Caribbean. However, his academic interest may still have been spurred by the recognition that SMEs in the small economies of the Caribbean were different creatures to those in the larger European economies he was more familiar with. This uniqueness seems to have fuelled his curiosity.
