How to Preserve Students’ Engagement Through Google Classroom Activities? A Case Study with Legal English Students at SEE University

The use of technology in education lately has changed the traditional way of teaching and learning standards in the way that it has opened new chances for connection, collaboration, and participation. Although the availability of many learning management systems for schools is wide, Google Classroom has emerged as one of the most compelling tools for distance and blended learning settings. Despite many benefits, Google Classroom’s most delicate challenge is how to keep students engaged over time. Preserving students’ focus and motivation during Google Classroom activities is seen as a perpetual concern for teachers in a digital area where interferences are numerous and concentration time is short. On that account, there is a need for exploring and implementing adequate strategies that can retain and increase students’ engagement surrounded in this digital learning environment. The focus of this study is to search for different strategies that are implemented by teachers to promote and preserve student engagement in Google Classroom activities. With a focus on contributing to an extensive overview of best practices in this field, the latest research findings, applicable knowledge from experienced teachers, and contemporary approaches will be examined.
