An Evaluating Model for Engineering Qualities Based on CC2020

Inspired by Chinese New Engineering Education trend, a modeling methodology for evaluating engineering qualities based on CC2020 is presented. CC2020 promotes that the competency plays a vital role while evaluating the teaching effectiveness or learning outcome. The core thought of EQCC (Engineering Qualities based on CC2020) is based on triple “knowledge-skills-dispositions”. Firstly, the indexes are structured as a hierarchy, knowledge and dispositions are the important criteria. And then, the suggested flow is given to converting the textural descriptions into quantized weights, while expected skills are used as quantized scale. After that, a practical case from computer science undergraduate program illustrates how to construct EQCC model.
