Workshop Logistics Planning for Small and Medium Manufacturing Enterprises Based on SLP Method—with a Furniture Manufacturing Factory as an Example

Manufacturing industry is a vital component of our national economy and an important embodiment of our comprehensive national strength. Therefore, it is particularly important to make reasonable logistics planning for workshops to ensure the product quality and production efficiency. This study firstly analyzes the logistics status and existing problems of workshop layout and logistics management in Hengyue furniture factory based on on-site research. Secondly, the system facility layout (SLP) method is adopted to improve the workshop layout inside the plant, and the optimal plan of workshop layout is formulated according to the actual conditions of the factory; In addition, specific improvement measures in logistics personnel management and workshop logistics operation management are proposed to ensure systematic logistic operations. Finally, a conclusion is made to summarize the article, which provides certain reference for the workshop logistics planning for other similar manufacturing enterprises.
