摘要

The problem of traffic congestion is becoming increasingly apparent with the expansion of urban scale and the continuous growth of private car ownership. The surge in passenger flow and the unreasonable layout of station service facilities have led to station congestion, decreased passenger satisfaction, and potential safety hazards. This article focuses on the theoretical study of pedestrian walking patterns in rail transit stations, and through on-site research on the Chaoyang Square Station of Nanning Urban Rail Transit, including its structure, facilities, traffic flow lines, and passenger flow statistical analysis, identifies the main points of congestion. Based on the simulation results of Anylogic software, reasonable suggestions were proposed to change the running direction of the escalator, add isolation barriers, and add security equipment, aiming to improve the capacity of pedestrian facilities during peak hours of the station and the satisfaction of rail transit passengers.
