Optimization Analysis of Distribution Path of S Logistics Company Based on Floyd and Mileage Saving Methods

Transportation route planning for logistics companies plays a crucial role in improving transportation efficiency and controlling costs. At the same time, high-efficiency and high-quality services can also improve customer satisfaction and enhance the brand image of the enterprise. This paper takes S Logistics Company in Wuhan as the research object and analyzes the distribution path optimization problem of a distribution center of the company and eight nearby outlets. The distribution routes and capacity arrangements of these outlets are optimized by Floyd algorithm and mileage saving method, obtaining three design schemes, and the schemes are compared to select the optimal scheme. The results show that the optimized distribution path is shorter, and the cost is more economical, which demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of Floyd algorithm and mileage saving method in the distribution path optimization of S Logistics Company, and can provide ideas and references for the vehicle distribution path planning.
