摘要

Under the framework of “dual carbon” goal, the development of intelligent logistics and reduction in carbon emissions in the logistics industry are of great significance for accelerating the establishment and improvement of a green, low-carbon and circular economic system for the logistics industry. The paper selects the relevant data of five representative provinces spanning the years 2013 to 2021 as the foundation for analysis and employs Eviews software for empirical testing regarding how the digital economy affects carbon emissions in the logistics industry. The research findings indicate a non-linear inverse U-shaped correlation between the development of the digital economy and carbon emissions within the logistics industry. Furthermore, effective reduction carbon emissions in the logistics industry can be achieved through avenues such as industrial restructuring and technological innovation. Based on these results, this paper provides recommendations in three aspects: the implementation of digital logistics infrastructure enhancement, the innovative intelligent evolution of the logistics industry, and researching and applying green logistics technology. These suggestions aim to serve as references for promoting environmentally friendly and low-carbon progress within the logistics industry.
