Research on Solar Energy Resources Evaluation and Power Generation Calculation Method in Port Area

摘要

With the increasing global awareness of environmental protection and the wide application of clean energy, solar energy as an important clean energy source has attracted much attention. In order to adapt to the needs of energy transformation in ports, this paper aims to conduct research on the assessment of solar energy resources in port areas and the calculation method of power generation. Therefore, this paper constructs an estimation model of the PV installation area in three major categories of port buildings, large-scale port machinery and roads in the port, and proposes the solar energy resource assessment and power generation calculation methods. Taking the intelligent container terminal in section C of Beijing Port Area of Tianjin Port as an example, combined with the solar irradiation data from NASA meteorological database, the PV installation area of the terminal area as well as the hourly power generation, monthly power generation, and yearly power generation under the effective sunshine condition in one year are measured. The above examples validate the effectiveness of the methodology of this paper. The research results of this paper can further enrich the research on the assessment of solar energy resources and power generation calculation methods in ports, and promote the popularization and application of solar energy resources in port areas.
