Nano-Remediation: Miniature Technology for Sustainable Environment

Changing material size and shape at the nanoscale is a promising way that nanotechnology is emerging to address pollution. Due in large part to their large surface area, nanoparticles have significant potential for contaminant degradation and detection. In order to exploit the unique properties of various nanomaterials for the sustainable management of environmental pollution, this chapter explores the benefits of these materials in pollution control.
