摘要

Videolaryngoscopy (VL) is increasingly being used in airway management. Its benefits include the ability of the intubator and the supervisor to share the airway view during intubation, in addition to providing a magnified view that may be necessary during intubation of a difficult airway. There is increasing evidence for its use in the neonatal population, both as a training tool and as a means of improving first attempt intubation success rates. However, VL is not yet embedded in routine clinical practice. This chapter explores the evidence for VL and the practicalities of its implementation in neonatal care.
