Fiberoptic and Endoscopic Airway Management in Neonates
摘要
Intubation via rigid endoscopy or flexible bronchoscopy is a lifesaving skill that can be employed in the management of anticipated or unexpected difficult neonatal airways. Successful airway management by these approaches requires multidisciplinary management from a complex airway team and necessitates effective communication among team members. This chapter aims to review the general principles and techniques of advanced airway management and specifics related to neonates.
