Joint Ownerships: Partnerships

A business activity can be operated by individuals (sole proprietors) or, collectively, by two or more people, in which case we have partnerships (or companies). In this section, we will analyze what the considerations and the economic reasons are that bring potential sole proprietors to carry out a business activity collectively as partnerships rather than individually and how partnerships are regulated under the three jurisdictions.
