Illustrative examples of studying artifacts of everyday life and culture demonstrate thinking about an artifact as a curriculum provided by everyday life–what did you learn, how did you become who you have become, etc. What is it like to interact with this artifact? What is the nature of the experience with it? How is this an effective curriculum?
