Rethinking Gender & Sexuality Education

This is the story of a university seminar using the Post-Anthropocene Education Studies approach together in studying the artifacts of gender and sexuality, intimacy and relationships. Historian Jill Lepore’s questions about evidence and truth combine with alterglobalization and Annette, Noel and Simon Gough’s juxtaposition of Haraway’s cyborg-goddess binary with animé’s magical girl-heavenly woman binary to appreciate the power of surprise (a path to recognizing ignorance).
