This chapter delves into the intricate genomics underlying the flavor constituents of cardamom, shedding light on its biochemical composition, aroma profile, and medicinal properties. Variations in these constituents across different genotypes, environmental conditions, and stages of maturity are elucidated, providing insights into the factors shaping cardamom’s flavor profile.
