This online community conceals misogyny and alt-right conservatism as male-empowerment and preservationism; claiming that women's empowerment is directly responsible for male disenfranchisement and loneliness in today’s world. These spaces exploit the vulnerabilities of men in distress, promoting archaic notions of masculinity as a solution to social and economic challenges. This chapter will delve into the fundamental beliefs of the Manosphere, provide a brief history of the reactionary movement, and propose interventions for individuals affected by feelings of isolation and excessive internet use.
