The global tourism industry plays a pivotal role in economic development and cultural exchange, particularly in countries rich in historical and cultural heritage. Uzbekistan, renowned for its historical treasures and cultural richness, has emerged as an increasingly popular tourist destination. This research paper employs sentiment analysis, a natural language processing (NLP) technique, to explore the sentiments expressed by tourists in their reviews of various destinations within Uzbekistan. The analysis, based on a dataset of 40 reviews collected from online platforms, social media, and surveys, categorizes sentiments into positive, neutral, and negative categories. The study reveals a predominance of positive sentiments among tourists, driven by historical and architectural attractions, local hospitality, cultural experiences, and cuisine. Additionally, the research identifies factors influencing tourist sentiments, including historical sites, hospitality, cuisine, and infrastructure. The findings have significant implications for tourism stakeholders, including government agencies, tour operators, businesses, and local communities, offering opportunities to enhance the overall tourist experience and promote sustainable tourism growth. This study contributes to the broader goal of leveraging sentiment analysis for informed decision-making in the tourism sector, ensuring Uzbekistan's continued allure as a captivating and welcoming tourist destination.
