Evaluation of the Physical Topographic Model of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
摘要
For the past five years, the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs has implemented the project “Formation of a basic topographic database of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, scale 1:10000 (BTDB10)”. The establishment of BTDB10 on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FB&H) was realized according to the territorial, i.e. according to the cantonal principle, due to limited financial resources, which resulted in twenty unrelated databases. Given that BTDB10 should be a unique database from which topographic maps of basic and special purposes will be obtained through model and cartographic generalization, it is necessary to realistically see what is available after the formation of BTDB10 for the ten cantons of FB&H. This paper describes how the evaluation of the physical topographic model, i.e. BTDB10, was carried out, what are its results, and how the current situation can be improved.
