Accelerated Cloud Accounting Implementation: Study on Small and Medium Enterprise in Indonesia

The primary aim of this study is to assess the advantages, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability associated with the adoption of cloud accounting technology among micro, small, and medium enterprises in Medan. This study used quantitative and survey approaches as well as cross-sectional methods. The population in this study includes coffee shops in Medan City based on Google Rating between 4 stars to 5, the sample of this study amounted to 102 coffee shops in Medan. In this research, data were gathered via surveys. The results suggest that both relative advantage and compatibility have a positive and significant impact on expediting the implementation of cloud accounting technology. However, complexity, trialability, and observability do not have an influence on the acceleration of cloud accounting technology implementation.
