Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Risk: A Bibliometric Analysis
摘要
Literature on artificial intelligence (AI) has increased in recent years in light of increasing accessibility and usage of AI in daily life. Yet, AI can be considered both a source of risks and a tool for risk management. This research paper aims to provide a bibliometric analysis of the growing literature on AI and risk. The analysis focuses on 1,469 documents extracted from Scopus website covering the period 1975 to 1 April 2024. The bibliometric analysis included: keywords, key authors; citations; document source; countries; key organizations; and subject areas. The tools used for the analysis included the analyze section in Scopus website, Excel software, and VOSviewer software. The results of this analysis were used to identify five main research themes. These proposed research themes were also used to classify the top 10 cited documents in the dataset. Results indicated the high potential for more research in this growing area.
