The Development Level Measurement of Digital Trade Based on Entropy Method and China’s Position

Many facts and figures show that digital trade has become one of the important pillars to promote global economic growth, and the development of digital trade is in a golden period. This paper uses the entropy method to evaluate the development level of digital trade of 39 countries from 2013 to 2020, and obtains the ranking of the development level of digital trade of each country. Then, it further analyzes the comprehensive scores of each country, the ranking changes of grouped countries, the scores of each country by sector, and the comparison of digital trade between China and the United States from four aspects. This paper makes an in-depth analysis of China's status and shortcomings in the development of digital trade in the world, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures, aiming to further promote its better and faster development on the basis of recognizing the development level of China's digital trade, and become one of the important driving forces leading China's economic and trade development.
