Research on the Coupling and Coordination of Digital Empowerment of Digital Countryside and Urban Rural Integration Development

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly proposed to prioritize rural development, adhere to integrated urban-rural development, and facilitate the flow of urban-rural factors, which provides a clear work approach for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization. The digital era has brought opportunities for the integration of urban and rural development. How to leverage digital empowerment to achieve digital rural construction and promote urban-rural integration development is a major issue that needs to be addressed in promoting comprehensive rural revitalization and high-quality development. The article is based on balanced panel data of urban-rural integration development in various provinces from 2012 to 2020, and analyzes the coupling coordination relationship between digital rural areas and urban-rural integration development using the entropy method and coupling coordination degree model. Finally, suggestions are proposed to accelerate the construction of information infrastructure in rural areas, innovate the rural circulation service system, improve the information literacy of rural special groups, and implement digital governance in rural areas.
