The Reality of Academics’ Practice of the Dimensions of Organizational Culture and Its Relationship to the Level of Job Performance Universities

This study aimed to identify the reality of the academics’ practice of the dimensions of organizational culture in Omani universities and its relationship to the level of job performance, and it relied on the correlational survey method, and the study sample consisted of academics in Omani universities, and their number reached (115) academics, and the use of the questionnaire as a tool for study, and reached the following results: The reality of academics’ practice of the dimensions of organizational culture came to an average degree for all areas, and indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) for the reality of the practice of organizational culture In Omani universities according to academic rank and teaching experience. And that the level of job performance of academics came at an average level, and indicates a positive correlation between the reality of the practice of organizational culture and the level of job performance, has reached (0.69), which is statistically significant, and in light of the results of the study the researchers recommend: the need for university administrations to pay attention to the dimensions of the organizational culture of academics, and work to increase resources and capabilities in universities.
