Epistemological, Ontological, and Methodological Issues
摘要
This chapter explores the epistemological, ontological, and methodological challenges in developing an economic theory of the firm and seeks alternative perspectives for creating a theory that is both theoretically robust and empirically grounded. While focusing on essential aspects and categories of a relational theory of the firm, it also acknowledges the need for further exploration into various dimensions, such as contractual arrangements, stakeholder networks, and cultural complexities.
