Distributional Pattern of Firewood and Chips Consumption in Rural India
摘要
This chapter provides the distributional patterns of firewood and chips consumption share in rural areas across states of India, and it also highlights rich and poor states. This chapter provides a comparison of the source-wise firewood and chips consumption patterns over percentiles of Monthly Per capita Consumption Expenditure (MPCE) and land. All rural households raise firewood and chips consumption for home-grown while top percentiles or rural rich households reduce free collections. However, Land-rich rural households reduce purchase only.
