A Modern Approach in Applying Photovoltaic Systems to Net-Zero Agriculture Infrastructure in Africa: A Bibliometric Analysis

In the face of unprecedented global challenges posed by the accelerated energy crises, post-covid challenges and rising cost of manufacturing within agriculture infrastructure in Africa, there is a need of modern approach in implementing photovoltaic systems whilst analyzing the existing methodologies within the literature. This study provides the modern eminence of it by undertaking a comprehensive investigation into the scientific production of global research in photovoltaic (PV) agriculture. Employing bibliometric techniques, the research analyzes scientific output, and international collaborations, and identifies the most cited publications in this burgeoning field. The primary objective of the study is to conduct comparative critical analyses and provide a nuanced understanding of the current state of agricultural research in African countries. Through rigorous data analysis, the research seeks to unveil valuable insights that can serve as a roadmap for the effective utilization of solar energy in African agriculture.
