The usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education institutions is gaining momentum as it promises to enhance both the teaching and learning experiences, as well as administrative functions. The rise of a generative AI in the last years has increased the awareness in the academic community.  The six presented papers provided in this chapter explore various facets of AI in higher education, each addressing different dimensions and contexts in which AI interfaces with educational settings and ethical considerations. Collectively, these studies contribute to a nuanced understanding the development of AI competencies required, of how AI technologies can transform traditional educational practices, and the ethical frameworks necessary to guide such integration.
