This paper aims to address the contributions brought up by digital transformation as regards teaching research skills at the university. In order to achieve this general goal, the following specific objectives are proposed: (1) to identify operational models of research skills based on a theoretical review, (2) to envision digital transformation in the field of teaching research skills at the university through a literature review, and (3) to analyze research skills teaching activities in light of digital transformation. These objectives are dealt with through secondary documents of different kinds: journal articles and Conference Proceedings, as well as a wider variety of sources, in search of research activities in different formats. After proposing two umbrella models for teaching research skills -here named “consecutive” and “progressive”-, a sequence of different tool for teaching research skills is presented in a chronological order, to envision digital transformation. Finally, different activities for teaching research skills are analyzed, concluding that digital transformation makes a difference as regards potentials for a more autonomous performance in doing research.

摘要
