Labor protection in Kazakhstan is ensured through local regulations and documents. This article addresses the central elements of Kazakhstan’s labor protection policies. The topics examined under two main headings are the identification of responsible employees and training on occupational safety and health. Under the first heading, procedures used to identify responsible employees, examination of relevant orders, appointment of responsible employees, and duties related to labor protection are discussed. The second heading delves into the detailed examination of topics covered in occupational safety and health training. These topics include fire safety, electrical safety, personal protective equipment, among others. In the study, the correct appointment of personnel performing duties related to occupational safety and labor protection, effective decision-making on who will be responsible, instructions regarding occupational safety and labor protection, organization of training on occupational safety and labor protection; and issues such as the appointment of employees responsible for organizing and conducting this training are explained. Effective implementation of labor protection policies in Kazakhstan is vital for reducing occupational accidents and health risks. The identification of responsible employees and provision of occupational safety training play a fundamental role in the successful implementation of these policies.
