Sustainability and Technology: Innovations Leading the Way to a Greener Future
摘要
The present study conducts an extensive review of the literature in order to investigate the merging of sustainability and technology, with a specific emphasis on advancements that contribute to a more environmentally friendly future. The objective of this study is to develop a theoretical framework that synthesizes existing knowledge and indicates gaps in the field through a systematic review of influential literature. The methodology relies heavily on a comprehensive review of comparative and alignment studies, incorporating results to evaluate the contribution of technology towards the promotion of sustainability objectives. The review's findings underscore the paradoxical characteristics of technological advancements, which demonstrate their capacity to substantially alleviate environmental issues while also presenting the possibility of further social and economic disparities. The significance of renewable energy technologies, smart grid advancements, and the strategic implementation of artificial intelligence in attaining sustainable development objectives is emphasized by the synthesis of comparative and alignment research. In conclusion, the research underscores the paramount importance of interdisciplinary methodologies and stakeholder collaboration in order to efficiently harness technology for the purpose of sustainability. It emphasizes that continuous research is required to resolve opportunities and challenges that arise in this dynamic field. Due to its reliance on pre-existing literature and prevalence of English-language sources, the study has certain limitations that highlight the significance of inclusive and diverse research perspectives. The recommendations advocate for further investigations to expand the reach of technological and sustainability research in order to guarantee its worldwide significance and effectiveness.
