摘要

Spas have developed in recent years as one of the primary wellness sector segments. The Muslim-friendly spa’s infrastructure, furniture, supplies, staff, finances, design, and interior décor must follow Islamic principles. Several studies have examined spa business issues. Few research studies have examined Muslim-friendly spa issues. The paper examines Muslim-friendly spa and wellness development. This study employed a systematic literature review to examine and review prior publications. This study systematically evaluated Muslim-friendly spa and wellness development issues in Malaysia’s tourist business from Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Scopus. Therefore, a systematic literature study was undertaken on 12 studies published between 2012 and 2021 to assess Muslim-friendly spas and wellness. Content study found the absence of Halal product information, Islamic built environment, standardisation, myths and misperceptions, advertising, and self-proclaimed Muslim-Friendly spa. Muslim-Friendly spa issues are addressed in this document with several suggestions. Future study is needed on this issue.
