Generation Z (Gen Z) is rapidly entering the financial landscape, and their investment behavior holds significant implications for the future of cryptocurrency adoption. This study investigates the factors influencing Gen Z's cryptocurrency adoption and investment behavior. The research explores the mediating role of knowledge and perceptions of cryptocurrencies, examining how tech-savviness, distrust in traditional financial institutions, and social media influence impact Gen Z's understanding and perception of cryptocurrencies, ultimately leading to adoption and investment. An online survey distributed through online platforms yielded 876 valid responses from Gen Z individuals across various city tiers. Furthermore, it investigates whether knowledge and perceptions mediate the relationship between these independent variables and Gen Z's cryptocurrency adoption and investment behavior. This study aims to bridge the gap in understanding the complex interplay between these factors and Gen Z's cryptocurrency engagement, utilizing descriptive statistics, reliability statistics, and structural equation modelling for data analysis.
